The GLF is a surface mount stainless steel scale that is designed and manufactured in Leicester by MWS. Its main feature is a gas strut assisted top deck making routine cleansing in high risk areas easier. Every GLF is supplied with one ramp.

Construction:

The GLF range is manufactured using 304 grade stainless steel (316L available upon request) box section and high end welding techniques. The GLF is free from hidden crevices and holes that allow moisture to build up harbouring bacteria and parasites. The gas-assisted plate is hinged on one side and is safely operated by a single user. It is fitted with IP68 load cells and junction box as standard, guaranteeing that the GLF is a truly waterproof floor scale even when washed down with a high pressure, high temperature jet wash.

Finish:

A glass bead blast top and bottom is used to finish, which gives an acceptable hygiene level for a majority of applications. However, a grained or electro polish finish can be added on request to improve the surface finish further.

Options:

The GLF can be specified for use with dolavs and trolleys, and includes the optional addition of laser profiled side rails to protect the operator from accidentally pushing items off the back or side of the scales.
