Are you the Engineering Apprentice we need?
Due to growth in the Midlands we are looking for a trainee to join our service team.
This is a full three year apprenticeship with excellent full time prospects. We will provide on the job training at MWS and you will be required to attend college 1 day a week to train in NVQ Levels 2 and 3.
This is an exciting opportunity working for a growing Service company which specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of weighing equipment as a beginning to end supply process.
Working as part a dedicated team of service engineers, you will initially support and shadow experienced members of the internal service team at the head office in Birstall, where you will learn how to service and calibrate weighing equipment.
Over time the role will transition and you will become a field-based engineer.

Qualifications required
- A-C in GCSE Maths, English & Science or equivalent.
Future prospects
Opportunity of a full time position at the end of the Apprenticeship and a Level 2 and 3 qualification with the support for further training and qualifications if desired.
The end goal is to become an field-based engineer within three years. Therefore a driving licence will be required before your apprenticeship ends.
Things to consider
Must be able to attend further education up to one day per week with own transport.
