Heinz Enters Virtual Market Restaurant With Heinz Brekkie
Food manufacturer Heinz launches “Heinz Brekkie”, the virtual market restaurant in partnership with the Lean Kitchen Network. The new mission is to appeal to a younger, home-working audience, who have adopted food delivery as a habit after lockdowns.
The menu features dishes for meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans, offering breakfast buns, breakfast bowls, hash brown dippers, bagels and sides. Options include ‘The Hot One’ breakfast bun, ‘The Full Vegan’ and loaded ‘Truffle Hash Brown Dippers’. All feature Heinz products, such as Heinz Tomato Ketchup and Heinz Beanz. Orders can be made online through the UberEats website and app.
Many businesses have discontinued corporate catering from their offices due to the current strain on employees and food expenses. A model like this, which incorporates both home-cooked and tailored meals, according to Claire Traynor, head of food service for Northern Europe at Kraft Heinz, is an excellent workplace breakfast solution from a business standpoint.
Heinz Brekkie is the latest example of its global Agile@Scale transformation strategy as they also plan to use this model to test new flavours, pilot innovation and get real-time feedback quickly, to offer the best experiences to its customers.
